FrontPage Design & Publishing - May 3rd, 2008 “Church Website Design” Class
Welcome...... to our first website design and publishing seminar. Our goal for the day is to transfer information that the class members have gathered about their church and their programs into a church website template. We will publish the new church website by the end of the class. We have designed a universal website template for each church to use for training and to get their site up and running as quickly as possible. Options for other templates and designs will be presented during the class that would enable members to create a more personalized site on their own. The template that we will be using is posted at www.shenpresonline.org The template has been created in FrontPage using CSS (Cascading style sheets) with an imported flash program for the picture show and navigation bar. What should you bring to the session? Lots of pictures and text. Please bring them in word document. We will need three pictures for the slide show. These three pictures need to be sized 560px wide by 200px high. Please send these three pictures to us ahead of time so we can place them in the flash display. If you need help, we will size and crop your pictures to fit. Be sure to send a picture that is wide enough for the display and be sure to send them by Wednesday, May 3rd to Patrick@lanaghan.com.
